The State Treasurer’s Office Division of Administration is responsible for disbursing to counties, municipalities, volunteer fire departments, and municipal policemen’s and firemen’s pension plans taxes and fees collected by state agencies. The majority of these distributions are made by electronic funds transfer reducing mailing costs, banking costs, and administrative time.
