WVABLE - Helping people with disabilities achieve financial independence

The rules have changed…WVABLE is a savings and investment account program made possible by the federal Achieving a Better Life Experience Act of 2014 (ABLE) that allows many qualifying individuals with disabilities the ability to save and invest up to $15,000 per year, and up to $27,760 if employed, without losing government benefits such as Medicaid or SSI. Earnings grow tax free and can be spent at any time for qualified disability expenses.

During this webinar, you will learn all the basics of the WVABLE Savings program including the following:

This workshop will start off with a brief overview of the WVABLE savings program followed by a step by step walkthrough of enrolling in a WVABLE STABLE Account.  This session will primarily focus on enrollment for an individual beneficiary, but we will also discuss the option of opening multiple accounts by an organization.  We will share tips on how to make the enrollment process as smooth as possible and will include time for Q&A.

WVABLE Workshop: How to Use your STABLE Account

This workshop will start off with a brief overview of the WVABLE savings program followed by a walkthrough of the online dashboard – attendees will learn how to make contributions and withdrawals, how to add a bank account for making electronic transfers, and additional features and tips will be shared that help to make using your online account easy.Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
