You can take home lost treasure this year at the State Fair of West Virginia, August 10-19, 2017. During a select five days of the fair, the State Treasurer’s Office will be holding LIVE Unclaimed Property Auctions right there at the fairgrounds. The auctions will take place at the Treasurer’s Office booth in the West Virginia building, just inside the main entrance.

With a variety of collectibles, knives, jewelry, coins, and more, there is sure to be something for everyone, but with just five auctions, you have to be there ready to bid if you want to take one of these treasures home.

A crowd gathers for an unclaimed property auction during the 2016 State Fair.
Mark your calendar for Friday, August 11th, Saturday, August 12th, Sunday, August 13th, Thursday, August 17th, and Friday, August 18th, those are the days you can take part in the LIVE unclaimed property auctions at the Treasurer’s Office exhibit in the West Virginia building.
